16 years

The beginning was laid with great enthusiasm at the end of October 2008, but our official birthday is on December 5th.

In times of great crisis, great ideas are born. This is still the case today.

In the beginning, we started as a team of two – a designer and a programmer – in a unique synchronization with Kaloyan Yordanov, who a little later started a separate business.

The name of the company and the vision of the logo were part of the Diploma thesis for the master’s degree of Svetlana Tsoneva. Nothing is accidental.

First Pixel House site. First, WebXpo at the Plovdiv Fair with Kaloyan Yordanov, the first friends and partners in business – Superhosting.bg. The first publication about Svetlana Tsoneva in the most creative magazine Sign Cafe (at that time).

The year Pixel House moved into its first official house! Our favorite enthusiasts invited us to share an office and so on for 5 years. Thank you Vicky for starting this adventure together 🙂 Many thanks to Mitko from Naturpharma, with whom we laid solid foundations for their brand and we were one team for many years.

No archives have been found for this year. Apparently we did not work.

A year filled with many conferences, new projects and friends. And a Startup Weekend that managed to bring together unique people who help us to this day.

2018 was a year in which many good things happened! We welcomed new customers, joined Webit and the “Site of the Year” competition. Svetlana Tsoneva was also actively involved behind the scenes – as a mentor at Able Mentor, a lecturer at NBU and part of the jury of “Site of the Year”.

A truly deservedly successful year!

2019 was a year in which we boldly expanded our horizons! We participated again in Webit and in the “Site of the Year” competition, this time as a jury. Svetlana Tsoneva joined as a guest speaker at WordCamp Sofia, and in the podcast Creators she talked to Justine Toms about design and inspiration.

We’ve also launched an exciting new venture – we’ve launched Pixel Academy, a training platform for graphic design, marketing, and WordPress.

We became part of the jury in the Digital Stars 2020 competition.

We started in an updated program of SoftUni Creative.

Svetlana Tsoneva took part in the career forum “Hive 2020” and for another year was part of the jury of “Site of the Year”.

Fatal numbers are not what they used to be! In the house of pixels, we celebrate a birthday again!

For 13 years now, we have been creating favorite brands and taking care of their online presence with style and a lot of love.

We participated in Webit, an event that for another year brings together innovations, organizations and world leaders in one place in Sofia.

Pixel House turned 14 years old!

For the 5th consecutive year, the Site of the Year event took place.
Svetlana Tsoneva, founder of Pixel House, is part of the design jury of the Site of the Year 2022. She presented the award to the audience and the jury in the Corporate Website category together with her colleague Kaloyan Petrov.

After so many years of successful partnership with Memotion and Clientric, it was time to share a space. We join forces to provide more professional services in one place.

In 2024, we had a lot of fun and inspiring! For another year, we joined Webit 2024 and Site of the Year, met great new clients and worked on projects that make us proud. And the sweetest thing – we celebrated 16 years of Pixel House!

Reckoning? Over 288 brands and logos, more than 120 packaging and label designs and one big “Thank you!” for your trust and inspiration.

This nomination is a recognition not only of her 22 years of professional career, but also of Pixel House Studio’s mission – for 17 years now, we have been creating visual identities and digital experiences with relevance and meaning.
We believe that the strength is in the detail. In the emotion behind every shape and color. And in the fact that when you put yourself in, people feel it.

In 2025, we decided that it was time for change and new energy. We’ve updated our logo, created a new look for the Pixel House website, and welcomed fresh additions to the team. All this – with a focus on development, an even stronger presence and an inspiring future.
